Charavane waterfalls also called as Agadacho Waterfall, is a very beautiful waterfall. It is located at village s known as Charavane in Sattari taluka. Charavane located 57 km from Panaji and 59.7 km from Margao.
Charavane, which lies at the base of the Chorla Ghat, is one such place to experience abundant nature and bountiful milky waterfalls which spring to life during this time of the year. This place comes in the western ghat.
Charavane waterfalls provide a breathtaking view of the lush green forest along with the gushing flow of the river. The Charavane waterfalls are one piece of untouched mother nature. This quiet little village filled with lush green beauty. Its a beautiful site to see many small and big waterfalls, all packed in tight, into a small viewing area that could be seen from the foot of the hill.
Its an ideal place for the people who love to go tracking. It was a long trail up, through the fields, slippery rocks, small streams, through shrubs, veils, along with a distance of almost 1 – 1.5 kilometers up the hill.
Charavane village is situated at a distance of 12 km from the Valpoi city. The Village people here are very kind and friendly and guide the tourists up till the waterfalls. The waterfalls here are very beautiful.
